Wooden stairs are leading up to the first floor where one will find one (1) large bedroom with balcony offering lovely views, and one (1) bathroom fitted with shower, basin and toilet.

Solar panel are fitted, and internet might be possible only with a "dongle" (mobile internet via USB)

Location

The village is built amphitheatrically on the mountain slope at an altitude of 160m, between two gorges. It is one of the historical villages at the foot of the Lefka Ori (White Mountain) and it overlooks the fertile plain of Apokoronas, with its sources, rivers and ancient vestiges. The Cretan Sea spreads out in front of it, with the sandy beaches of the bay of Kalyves. Despite the fact that the village remained apart from the noisy crowd of the busy roads and tourism of Crete, it is easily accessed. It is located at a distance of 4km from the national road, at 23km from the city of Chania, at 18km from the harbour of Souda, and at 28km from the airport.

Kalyves, a lovely seaside town at the east end of Suda Bay, attracts many people to its extensive shore, where the rivers of Koiliaris and Xydas flow into the sea.
On the hill to the east the fortified capital of the province of Apokorono was built at the time of the Venetian occupation.
Kalyves offers the visitor excellent service.
At the village of Megala Horafia is the important archaeological site of Aptera, from which you may follow an interesting route through delightful surroundings and important monuments to Stylos, Samonas and Kyriakoselia, ending up at Kalyves.
